My wife and I spent an outstanding afternoon with Marion. We've had dozens of tour guides during our travels and Marion rates among the very best--sensing what interested us most, providing insights beyond the superficial, helping us get access to things we wouldn't otherwise have been able to see, and expressing herself in a way that was clear, enlightening, and enjoyable. The only downside was that we came away wishing we had spent more time in Weimar. One of the most efficient and satisfying tours we've ever had.

Hands down the best guided tour I have ever taken part in! The guide was exceptional – knowledgeable, charismatic, and well-spoken. Would do it again!

Weimar is great place to visit, and Marion is a wonderful guide. She knows how to share her amazing breadth of knowledge in a friendly and engaging manner. Our two-hour tour flew by, as we strolled the streets and park lanes of beautiful Weimar. Marion skillfully adapted our route to accommodate our special interests, making it all seem like a very personal experience. Her impeccable English also helped make our introduction to Weimar so easy to enjoy. We look forward to returning to Weimar to explore more of the city's treasures.

Marion was SUPERB! I learned so much during our walking tour around Weimar. What an incredible place. We exchanged some emails in advance, so she knew I have a special interest in the arts, and she adjusted the tour to put a special focus on that. Marion has a deep and thorough knowledge of Weimar and German history, she easily had answers for all my questions during the walk. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had the privilege of enjoying a private 2 hour tour with Marion highlighting the diverse history of Weimar. Having Wiemers as my maiden name, Weimar (whether connected or not) had always been a mysterious name on a map until we met Marion at the train station. With her intimate knowledge of this multifaceted area, Marion discovered our interests and provided an engaging, informative stroll through Weimar. Her approach distracted us from some drizzling weather and made our few hours in Weimar a valuable, precious memory. We highly recommend engaging her for a tour!

My wife and I had a wonderful time on Marion's Classical City Walk. The tour was extremely well-structured relating historical figures with the buildings and artworks they helped to create. We particularly enjoyed the contrast in personalities and status between Goethe and Schiller, as reflected in their homes - now both museums. Marion was a knowledgeable and humorous guide, who was extremely patient with our barrage of questions. Definitely the highlight of our visit to Weimar.
We also had the unexpected bonus of visiting the Anna Amalia Library later in the day, where Marion was also conducting the tour.

We took the tour for our company event in Weimar to learn more about the history of the city we were staying in. The tours were a fantastic introduction to the city, the guides fulfilled all our wishes, last minute changes and also offered 3 different tours in English and German at the same time.
We were very happy and can only recommend taking the tour.

We had just 24 hours passing through Weimar and had the chance of being able to book a private tour with Marion. I enjoyed every minute of the time we spent with her while she was sharing her knowledge and passion for this city. We were specially interested in the musical past of the city but we discovered so much more. Thank you very much.

As a tour director I accompanied a group of Americans, who were deeply interested in Germany's history and culture on a trip to Weimar. Marion, our city guide, provided a tailor-made tour for us, she was immediately interacting with the group in a very friendly and professional way and took care to introduce to us not only Weimar's most famous landmarks but also to explain about its history - from the Reformation to Bach, Goethe, Liszt, the Bauhaus and the Weimar Republic. She also gave us some valuable insight into Weimar's dark past and didn't omit some difficult subjects like National Socialism and the former GDR. So, whenever you're in Weimar, try to book a tour with Marion - absolutely recommended!

On a recent visit to beautiful Weimar, I had the good fortune to be led on two tours by Marion Kyritz-Kammerer - a Bach focused city walking tour and an evening walking tour around the Park an der Ilm. I work as a tour manager for an Australian travel company and Marion led us as a small group. She engaged really well with the group and her guiding was informative and enjoyable. The group commented on her professionalism and well-researched content. Marion was particularly helpful in organising a bespoke tour for two members of my group who had walking difficulties. She accompanied us as a city guide utilising the local horse drawn carriage company. I can highly recommend her as a guide for a range of interesting tours around the fascinating city of Weimar.
